Fall Placements for Teachers in Hungary 
The Central European Teaching Program has 5 remaining conversational English positions for September. Two are in cities while the other three are in small places where you will experience traditional Hungarian life but still have the ability to explore other Central European locales on weekends and holidays. The staff in these small schools will treat you like the gift that you are. 
A bachelor’s degree plus TEFL certification is required (a basic 40-hour online course is sufficient) but a degree in education and/or state certification are truly valued. We can place teachers only from countries that have teaching reciprocity agreements with Hungary: The US, Canada, and the EU. 
Bilingual High Schools: 
1. A bilingual high school in Budapest 
2. A bilingual high school in Mezokovacshaza, close to the border with Transylvania, Romania 
3. A Catholic high school in Kisvarda in NE Hungary close to the border with western Ukraine. We have two returning teachers in the town who will help immerse you in the life of this small city. 
Bilingual Elementary Schools: 
4. A bilingual elementary in Tiszavasvari in NE Hungary and very near the university city of Tiszavasvari with frequent express train service to Budapest and elsewhere. 
5. A split position between 2 elementary schools in the vibrant university city of Szeged in southern Hungary 
CETP is the oldest and most significant organization placing ESL teachers in Hungary. Currently we serve 100 schools, the majority being elementary with a number of high schools and a handful of preschool/kindergartens. Most are public schools though several are parochial. Teachers do not need to attend services or be a member of the faith. 
Though our first-year program fee is normally $2500 for Budapest schools as well as high schools, and $1900 for non-city elementary schools and preschool/kindergartens, the fee for these final vacancies is $950. I assure you this is NOT a placement fee. We are a full-service organization providing: all EU residence and work documentation to teach in Hungary, airport welcome, orientation in Budapest, transportation to your new community, free private furnished apartment with utilities paid, medical insurance, Hungarian teachers’ salary, in-country director available 24/7, Facebook page for travel and teaching tips, plus personal, attentive service throughout. And because you will have your Hungarian income tax waived by coming through CETP, you will save more than the amount of the reduced program fee itself.
