Assistant Language Teacher (ALT) in Ibaraki and Saitama (Visa Support)

Do you want to work and live in Japan? Are you interested in having an immersive experience in Japanese culture while building your skills? If you have a passion for teaching and want to kickstart your career in Japan, Heart Corporation is looking for Assistant Language Teachers (ALT) to team teach with Japanese teachers to help motivate students in public schools to enjoy English for the April 2020 - March 2021 school year. Positions will be available in Ibaraki and Saitama in the Tokyo area.

Main Responsibilities

• Fun and exciting English lessons for public school students aged nine to fifteen
• Team teaching and collaborative lesson planning
• Making educational materials for elementary and/or junior high school students
• Motivating students to learn English
• Participating in school life
• 29 hours of lessons per week, maximum

Salary and Benefits

• Salary: 9,000 - 12,000 yen/day (varies by city)
• Visa sponsorship and renewal available
• Paid holiday after six months
• Orientation and ongoing training
• Online lesson plans and other support available
• Bilingual office staff

Criteria

• Must hold or be eligible for an appropriate visa
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Native or native-like proficiency in English
