Guangzhou, otherwise known as the City of Flowers, is located just across the border from Hong Kong in South East China. Famous for its foreign trade, it is situated along the Pearl River next to the Baiyun Mountain. It has a more relaxed reputation than other Chinese cities and is considered to be at the heart of Cantonese culture, with temples tucked amongst leafy streets. Tourists are drawn to its vast array of landmarks, including the iconic Guangzhou Opera House and the Han Dynasty tomb. It has a large ESL teaching community and is a great place to experience life working and living in China.

Job description

ESL Teaching-  Guangzhou schools

Contact hours are 8am-5pm with 20-25 hours of teaching.
Students’ ages vary from school to school, but we can place you somewhere that meets your preference. 

Salary

19000 RMB-22000 RMB per month (£2,220-£2,580) ($2,700-$3,120) plus free apartment and flights.

• A Bachelor’s degree (any subject)
• TEFL qualification (desirable, not essential)
• Ability to speak and write in English to native level
