We are a kindergarten licensed by the Ministry of Education and we are now looking for additional lively and passionate teachers to join us. As an early childhood educator you will be the first impression of English learning to our students ranging from 2 to 5 years old. If you are passionate about educating early learners, this job will allow you to express your creativity and contribute positively to the educational development of all our students. Being part of a well-organized kindergarten requires you to maintain a professional attitude, be punctual and responsible.

Resources are well developed with provided materials which teachers will adapt for each individual class as needed. We provide modern facilities for classes of 25 to 30 students, fully equipped with all the tools needed to keep children engaged and happy.

Teach English in Phnom Penh, Cambodia
Cambodia is a tropical country blessed with year-round warm weather, and Phnom Penh is accessible to fine beaches, friendly locals and relatively low cost of living. International visitors to Cambodia all return back home with great memories and life-changing experiences such as visiting the Royal Palace. Cambodia is also home to the Angkor Wat a 12th century Hindu temple that is considered a UN World Heritage Site and one of the archaeological wonders of the world. The national language in Cambodia is Khmer but in Phnom Penh the capital city having many expatriates, communicating in English is not a problem.

Main Responsibilities
o Maximum teaching time about 25 hours per week with a total of 40 work hours a week
o Monday to Friday schedule, 7:30am to 4:30pm, excluding 1 hour break for lunch
o Students age: 2 to 5 years old
o Prepare documents and lesson plans based on school requirement
o Prepare report cards and meet parents during the parent-teacher meeting conference
o Manage a group of teaching assistants who will help you in the classroom
o Participate in the events and meeting as required by the school
o Meet with parents to update them about the student progress per parent or school request
o Make sure to maintain a safe, clean, caring and loving environment for your students during their stay at school


Compensation
o Excellent salary: 1,600 to 2,000 USD per month (housing allowance included in salary)
o Flight is reimbursed upon completion of contract
o Airport pickup is provided
o Assistance in finding accommodation
o Visa and Work Permit costs reimbursed upon completion of contract
o Legal Z work visa provided
o Total of over 40 days paid holiday per year, public holidays (22 days) plus 2 weeks semester breaks paid plus 18 days personal paid leave per year and 6 days of paid sick leave
o Health insurance (nationally provided or can pay for your own)
o Free lunch at work
o 1 to 2 months paid training at start of contract
o Initial training and on-going coaching provided by an experienced Coordinator


Requirements
o Native speakers from USA, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa
o Bachelors degree preferred
o No Bachelors degree then must have a 120 hour TEFL certificate (No TEFL? We recommend INTESOL: www.GoldStarTeachers.com/INTESOL)
o No Bachelors degree, then prior children teaching experience is required (2 years preferred)
o Plenty of passion, energy and able to care for educational development of students
