JLS/ American School English Academy is looking to fill a contract this coming new year.
We are looking for motivated individuals with a passion in teaching. The academy has been providing ESL services to children in Cheongju for the last 15 years. We are looking for native Canadians or native applicants only.

Location: Gwell City, Cheongju
Start Date: Feb/ March 2020
Airfare: Both ways
Accommodations: Apartment included, fully furnished, 2 burner stove top
Distance from school: 10 minute walk
Attractions: close to all shopping centers including H&M, Zara, etc. Western restaurants as well as local restaurants to pick from. 20 minute walk to bus terminal and close to the University/ Downtown area
Age of students: Kindie to middle school
Salary: 2.2 million won/ month, minus 5% Korean income tax
Hours: max 30 hours per week
Severance: 2.2 mil

Vacation: All national holidays, 2 days in the winter, 3 days in the summer
# of native teachers: 5

JLS has 2 positions that will be needed to be filled:

1st- Elementary to Middle school 1 pm-9 pm
Your day will begin with teaching children ages 8 from a beginner level and student ages will get older as the day progresses. The later evening classes will be TOEFL classes for middle school students. Your prep time is 1-230 pm, and classes start from 230-830 pm

2nd: Kindie to Elementary 10 ish- 630 ish (varies each day)
Your day begins with kindie (age 5) in the am. Lunch is provided at the school. In the Afternoon you begin classes at 230 -630 ish for the elementary students

Requirements:
E2 or F2 visa holder
University degree
Native English speaker with minimal accent
If applying for E2 visa, all steps required must be completed
