Part-time Business English Consultant

Job Description

Apex Language Consulting and Training is looking for enthusiastic, experienced and motivated Business English corporate trainers to join our company.

You will be expected to teach adults business and conversational English in one-to-one tutoring or group classes, either face-to-face or online via tools such as Skype. Levels of clients range from beginner right through to advanced. Business skills you will teach include delivering presentations, participating in meetings, report writing, emailing and taking part in business conferences calls.

Working hours will initially be part-time, with hours from 8.00 am to 9.30 pm, 7 days a week.  Classes will take place either at our studio near Songjiang Nanjing MRT or at the client’s office.

Position Requirements

• APRC, citizenship status, or an ARC with a work permit
• A Bachelor’s Degree 
• CELTA, TEFL or TESOL qualification
• Minimum of two years experience in teaching ESL students
• 3 to 4 years work experience in the corporate sector
• Experience in preparing clients for exams (TOEIC, TOEFL, IELTS) is preferred
• Up-to-date teaching strategies
• Ability to design Business English courses that are customized to clients’ needs
• Native speaker level English 
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
