Teaching Opportunity in Historic Capital City of Chachapoyas Peru

English For Us (www.englishforus.pe) is a small language academy located on the main plaza of the colonial city of Chachapoyas in Northern Peru, in Amazonas state (departamento). Our city is a bustling center of tourism attracting people from all over the world, who come to visit the pre-Inca ruins of Kuelap, the world’s tallest waterfalls – Gocta, Yumbilla, Chinata – and take part in adventures such as whitewater rafting, canyoning, trekking, and birdwatching.

We are seeking a dynamic and committed TEFL-trained teacher to instruct our growing number of students. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with students of all ages, from children to teenagers and adults.

Our teaching environment is friendly and participatory. Our students love learning about life in foreign lands, and we encourage our teachers to share lessons about their home as they also follow our curriculum.

We offer complimentary first month’s lodging and meals in addition to a modest salary. We require a six-month commitment to our school.
