Volunteer ESL Teacher and Kindergarten Assistant

This is a two month volunteer placement in which you will be working alongside local Indonesian staff to deliver an English curriculum to students at a charity Education Centre. We believe that Education is vital in helping our students out of poverty. You will be responsible for planning and delivering your own English sessions for a wide age range of students - the youngest learners are 4 and our oldest are currently 50! Alongside this, you will also assist in our Kindergarten, join/ or lead weekly fitness classes and have opportunities to assist in projects relating to poverty and to female empowerment. 

We charge volunteer fees of $106 dollars per week, which covers 10 meals a week, your accomodation, your transport to and from the airport as well as other basic amneties including wifi, drinking water and electricity.

This is a real once a life time experience for someone just starting out their English teaching journey to improve their teaching skills, while living on the edge of the Sumatran Jungle and making a true difference in young people's lives.
