English Teacher and Music Teacher Positions

Available Teaching Positions at Bangkok Christian College

Bangkok Christian College (BCC) is seeking native English- speaker teachers (NEST) for the next academic year. BCC is a private boys’ school located on Sathorn Road, next to Surasak BTS Station.

English Teacher Positions

Positions are currently available to work in the Intensive English Program (IEP). Class sizes are 16 - 20 students with twenty contact teaching hours per week. These positions require a bachelor's degree (in any field) and CELTA, TEFL or TESOL certification.

EIP Music Teacher Position

BCC is also seeking a qualified Native Speaker Music Teacher to work in the English Immersion Program (EIP) for Primary Grades 2-6. The teacher must teach pitch, rhythm, music notation and various instruments, and provide vocal instruction. The teacher must play basic recorder. The teacher will also assist with the annual variety show which includes student performances.

Requirements for BCC Teachers

- at least two years of teaching experience
- relevant degree/certificate
- original documentation such as diploma, certificates, transcripts, letters of recommendation, etc.
- general eligibility to apply for a Thai teacher’s license in the future

Applicants must be from the UK, USA, Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand or South Africa. Unfortunately, we cannot accept teachers from other countries than those listed or anyone over the age of 55.

Benefits

The school provides a competitive salary starting at approximately 53,000 THB (for a bachelor’s degree), yearly pay increase, annual end-of-completion bonus, extra pay for additional qualifications, work permit, health insurance, free lunch and paid holidays (approximately 8 weeks of holiday per year).
