Private Kindergarten in Suratthani Province, Thailand Seeks English Teacher

A private kindergarten in a small town located within Suratthani Province, Thailand is seeking an enthusiastic, flexible, motivated female English teacher to work with students aged 3-7 years old.

Job description

• One-year contract with work visa beginning May 15th, 2014
• Salary: 35,000 baht/month
• Teaching hours: 22 hours/week
• Workday: Monday-Friday 8am-3:30pm
• Class size: Average 10-20 students
• Holidays: All national holidays paid; 15-day holiday in October in accordance with Thai academic calendar
• Sick days: Flexible
• Thai teaching assistant present and eager to assist during all lessons in addition to actively contributing to lesson planning and other work outside of class
• Network of support and assistant from school staff (i.e. accommodation search, transportation questions, medical issues, etc.)

A successful applicant should fulfill the following:

• Be a female native English speaker
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Possess a TEFL/TESOL certificate
• Have previous experience with and the genuine desire to work with young children
• Be professional, hardworking, patient, energetic, and adaptable
