FULL-TIME EFL INSTRUCTOR of NORTH AMERICAN ENGLISH

Due to the fact that one of our recent hires was unable to obtain a visa from Japanese Immigration, MIL-The Language Center in Chiba, Japan has one full-time, one-year position available immediately for an EFL Instructor of North American English (both kids and adult classes). Our 9 schools are located on the Keisei and Shin-Keisei lines, about halfway between Tokyo and Narita. The start date is negotiable, from now until March 24.

Applicant MUST currently reside in Japan AND hold a proper visa.

Applicant must also have strong interpersonal skills and be good with children, as about two-thirds of our students are children.

Hours: Minimum 20.0, maximum 23.0 teaching hours per week.

Salary : Base 247-251,000 yen/month, plus 10000 yen monthly merit pay.

Accommodation: Applicant MUST live in our area or be willing to relocate. School-sponsored apartments range from 50,000 to 60,000 yen (rent) per month. MIL helps with initial set-up costs, and provides basic furnishings including a landline phone.

One-year contract,(possibly renewable).
