Ayutthaya Teaching Positions

Teachers needed for English Program (content subjects) and English Conversation Programs in Ayuttaya private school. Subjects include English Conversation, English Reading, English Writing, Science, and Social Studies.

Experience and TEFL certification are preferred. Orientation, school on-boarding, and relocation support/advice are provided. Native English speaker preferred but non-native speakers will be considered who provide a TOEFL/TOEIC score.

Benefits:

Salary: 34,000 - 35,000+ THB per month (depending on location, subject taught, and experience)

            +500 baht per hour optional overtime/after school teaching.

Bonus:  1 months salary at the completion of contract.
Contract: 12 months (or actual start date) to March 31^st (end of school year)
Holiday: All Thai government holidays off with pay (13-15 days annually)
Accommodation: Not provided but assistance is given to locate an apartment.
Visa:  Non-Immigrant B visa reimbursement (paperwork provided to obtain visa)

Work Permit: Paid for and provided free once Non-B Visa is obtained

Assistance obtaining Thai bank account and SIM card (if needed).

Working Conditions:

Teaching hours are 18 hours per week, depending on the subject.
Class sizes are 25 students per class in air-conditioned classrooms
School hours are approximately 08.00-16.00 Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:

Teach subject content to assigned classes as per the schedule provided.
Modify and adapt lessons to meet the needs of your class.
Participate in school activities, if needed, to promote teamwork and community.
Maintain weekly classroom office hours.
Maintain student assessment.

Volunteer for after-school tutoring if needed (OT pay provided).

Requirements:

Native English Speakers (non-native English speakers may be considered provided they provide a TOEFL/TOEIC score).

Bachelors Degree from an accredited university

21-50 years of age

Teach experience and TEFL preferred but not required.

Desire to learn more about Thai culture.

Positive attitude and a passion for teaching
