Ayutthaya and Bangkok Teaching Positions

Teachers needed for English Program (content subjects) and English Conversation Programs in private schools in Ayutthaya and Bangkok, Thailand. Subjects include English Conversation, English Reading, English Writing, Science, and Social Studies.

Experience and TEFL certification are preferred. Orientation, school on-boarding, and relocation support/advice are provided. Native English speaker preferred but non-native speakers from EU will be considered who provide a TOEFL/TOEIC score.

AVAILABLE POSITIONS:

Ayutthaya English Program Positions (2)

Teaching 18 hours per week in an air-conditioned classroom to KG/Primary students.  Subjects are English Conversation, English Reading, English Writing, Science, and Social Studies

Benefits:

Salary: 34,000 - 35,000+ THB per month (depending on qualifications and experience)
            + 500 baht OT pay for optional after-school tutoring classes
Contract: 12 months (or actual start date) to March 31st
Bonus: 1 month’s salary for full year contract completion
Holiday: All Thai government holidays off with pay (13-15 days annually)
Accommodation: Not provided but assistance is given to locate apartment.
Visa:  Non-Immigrant B visa reimbursement (paperwork provided to obtain visa)
Work Permit: Paid for and provided free once Non-B Visa is obtained

Bangkok English Conversation Positions (6)

Teaching 25 hours per week to high school students.  Teaching English conversation 2 hours per week per class.

Benefits:

Salary: 34,000 - 35,000+ THB per month (depending on qualifications and experience)
Contract: 10 months (or actual start date) to March 31^st
               Will consider 1 term placements (May to Sep/Oct)
Bonus: ½ a month’s salary for full year contract completion
Holiday: All Thai government holidays off with pay (13-15 days annually)
Accommodation: Not provided but assistance is given to locate apartment.
Visa:  Non-Immigrant B visa reimbursement (paperwork provided to obtain visa)
Work Permit: Paid for and provided free once Non-B Visa is obtained

Responsibilities:

• Teach subject content to assigned classes as per schedule provided.
• Modify and adapt lessons to meet the needs of your class.
• Participate in school activities, if needed, to promote teamwork and community.
• Maintain weekly classroom office hours.
• Maintain student assessment.

Requirements:

• Native English Speakers (non-native English speakers may be considered provided they provide a TOEFL/TOEIC score).
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
• 21-50 years of age
• Teach experience and TEFL preferred but not required.
• Desire to learn more about Thai culture.
• Positive attitude and a passion for teaching
