Full-time English Teacher Needed For September Start Date

Challenge Academy has a full-time teaching position available for the 2022 - 2023 academic year. The contract is from September to June with the possibility of working a summer intensive course in July 2023. Our academy is located in the city of Vilafranca del Penedès (40 kms from Barcelona), surrounded by the beautiful wine growing landscape of the Alt Penedès region.

General tasks for the teaching position include:
- classroom management.
- planning, preparing and delivering lessons to a range of classes and age groups.
- preparing and setting tests, examination papers and exercises.
- marking and providing appropriate feedback on oral and written work.
- attending and contributing to training sessions.
- administration, such as keeping student registers and attendance records.
- possible tutoring on a one to one basis.

Qualifications and requirements:

- University degree in appropriate fields such as: Education, literature, languages.
- English teaching certification eg: TEFL, CELTA, TESOL.
- Minimum experience of 2 years teaching.
- Experience of preparing students for Cambridge exams.
- Enjoy working with very young children, teenagers and adults across a range of levels from beginners to advanced.
- Have social and creativity skills.
- B1 level of Spanish or Catalan.
