Job Summary
Uptown English is looking for a new teacher to join our team of teachers until the end of the academic year and hopefully beyond. The job includes a mix of second year primary school students, pre intermediate teenagers and intermediate adults. Details of Position
Uptown English is a small school in Horta, Barcelona. The job is for between 17-22 hours a week starting in September 2022.

The school has a friendly welcoming atmosphere which comes from working in a small, enthusiastic team of excellent teachers. Teachers are provided detailed course guides and overviews to help them with lesson planning. Teachers also have an experienced mentor to help with lesson planning, classroom management and the teacher's professional development as well as ensuring that lessons are fun, dynamic and engaging for students, our main priority.

The academy has versatile interactive whiteboards, high speed fibre optic internet connection and all teachers have access to our bank of materials as well as subscriptions to websites which can be used for resource and game creation.
Requirements
- EU nationals or non-EU nationals with legal right to work in Spain.
- Teachers with native level competence and pronunciation
- CELTA or equivalent
- Knowledge of Spanish/ Catalan an advantage.
- 2 years previous teaching experience including experience working with young learners desirable. A willingness to work with young learners essential.

Salary
16€ an hour
