Efl Teachers

We are looking for suitably-qualified, talented teachers who have not only a passion for teaching, but also the ability to adapt to all the different aspects of the role, and for those who are willing to carry out non-academic duties such as supervision duties and airport duties with professionalism and flexibility.

Our teachers are hard-working, reliable, professional at all times, safety-conscious, approachable, pleasant and friendly and are willing to go the extra mile to ensure the well-being of our students and, ultimately, the success of the programme.

We aim to give students an educational, culturally-enriching and memorable summer experience in a safe and supervised setting and we are looking to employ professional staff who will accept this responsibility, and have the necessary wide-ranging skills, experience and commitment to help us achieve this goal.

WORKING DAY

A typical working day is from 8.15am to 17.30pm, with up to 25 contact hours per week, depending on the course and centre. The working day includes up to 3 hours of preparation and admin time (Depending on the centre)

On Fridays, EFL Teachers work until 7.45pm so that they can attend the students' official Leavers' Ceremony.

Teachers are required to attend 1 x 30-minute input session per week.

EFL Teachers are entitled to 1 full day off per week, Usually a Saturday or Sunday



Job Prerequisites

QUALIFICATIONS

University Degree in any discipline
CELTA or Trinity College TESOL (or Accreditation-UK recognised equivalent) or PGCE (in English or MFL)
Applicants with the DELTA, QTS (Primary or Secondary) or CELTYL, are particularly welcomed.

EXPERIENCE

At least 1 year's EFL teaching experience with Young Learners is essential.
Applicants with previous experience of working in a residential summer school and teaching mixed nationality groups are preferred.



Job Salary

Salaries start at £600 per week + holiday pay. Statutory holiday pay (currently 5.6 weeks per year) is paid pro-rata with each salary payment.
Accommodation and Meals are provided free of charge on all courses.
This packages are equivalent to an annual salary of £34,965.84(including holiday pay)
