Djibouti is a small country in eastern Africa. Djibouti is bordered by Eritrea in the north, Ethiopia in the west and south, and Somaliland in the southeast.

A French and Arabic speaking country, learning English is not high on the agenda in Djibouti. ESL teaching opportunities are probably very limited, with the American air force stationed there teaching conversational English while off-duty.
