Student & Graduate Native English Teachers Needed in Central Asia
The International Language Academy Central Asia is looking for student and graduate teachers to teach conversational English and grammar to adult, middle, high school and university students at iLAca, a private ESL school, located in Bishkek, in the infant, secular democratic state of the Kyrgyz Republic. Come observe the birth of a nation and see democracy taking its baby steps first hand and feel what is like to witness history unfold before your eyes.
The personal experience of learning about diverse cultures is one of most important things in our preparation to become viable citizens of our global village. Central Asia offers a wealth of experience and knowledge, contributing to your post-graduate career in more ways than you can imagine. iLAca’s Student Teaching Program provides you this valuable experience. Participating in our student teacher program, you will have the opportunity to teach in an intercultural setting to meet your institution's goals and expectations for their student teaching program.
As a graduate teacher, iLAca offers a unique experience of living in this culture and teaching English to polite, eager and attentive students in Central Asia. Teaching at iLAca is sure to provide a lifetime of wonderful memories, as well as a deep appreciation for a part of the world that has been cloaked in mystery and mystique for centuries. Explore Marco Polo’s Silk Road, visit the eastern limits of Alexander’s Empire, as well as break bread and share tea with descendants of the Great Khans.
iLAca believes that all students, especially those studying ESL, learn better in small groups. At the International Language Academy Central Asia, class sizes do not exceed 6 students. The school is open 5 days a week, Monday thru Friday. Classes are 1 hour 15 minutes long, and teacher schedules are flexible, allowing you to teach from five to eight classes per day.
iLAca is a year-round school, so you will be able to start at your convenience. We will provide documentation and assistance for you to obtain a work visa through the Kyrgyz Embassy or Consulates in North America or the UK. Prior to you arrival, we will also help you locate housing and anything else you may need.
Providing a safe, healthy learning environment serves as the foundation of our school. Our ultimate goal is to provide our graduates with a unique educational experience whereby they can realize their potential to achieve success both as individuals and as members of their global community.
Established in January 2011. ILACA's objective is to provide our students the language skills needed to be contributing members of our 21st century "Global Society". Strong communication skills, healthy self-confidence, passion for excellence and respect for others are the four main pillars of our school community.
