CUSO International is seeking outgoing, motivated, volunteers to assist in First Nations schools in the far north of Canada
The volunteers assist as tutors, teaching assistants, special needs tutors, and help out in many different capacities in the schools.
If you were to apply and be accepted to join CUSO your travel within Canada up to the project community and back again would be covered along with your accommodations and food and living expenses. You would also be provided with a winter parka and a stipend of $50 a week for pocket money. This is a long term commitment with the projects starting in late August and continuing through to the end of June, a commitment of close to ten months.
This is an amazing experience for people who want to learn about a different culture and way of life. You would have the opportunity to see and do some amazing things while helping out in First Nations communities that need your assistance.
