Job Description

Kidz in Action is seeking a native English teacher to join us for the new school year at the beginning of October in using our Reflex Teaching Method working with young children aged three to twelve.

There is also the possibility of an additional 5 hours of company classes offsite per week, although this is not obligatory.

Using an innovative and highly effective approach, the Reflex Teaching Method makes it possible to efficiently train one's language reflexes in order to jumpstart the language learning process so that the children can immediately begin ‘using’ the language in real, natural, meaningful communication with you. You can see more of our method at

You should be dedicated, reliable and passionate about teaching but most of all, have the ability to come down to the level of the children and create a genuine rapport with them. Singing, dancing, games and theatre are all a central part of our classes and comprehensive training in our method, teaching skills and behaviour management will be provided.

From Monday – Thursday the children’s classes are 16:45-19:00. The additional company classes are Monday 12:30-15:00 & Thursday 13:00-15:30. There are no classes on Fridays.

Thus, there are approximately 8-9 teaching hours per week with kids with the chance to add another 5 hours in offsite company classes.

The lesson plans and materials for the children’s classes have are already been developed for you so that you can concentrate on giving each student a rich learning experience. You will be guided on creating the lesson lesson plans for the company classes.

The academy is located in Majadahonda on the outskirts of Madrid - a 25 minute bus ride from Moncloa.

The position is part-time including paid vacation and runs from the October until the end of June with a salary of €600 per month + 250€ for the company classes. There is also the option to join us for our Cooking, Arts & Robotics workshops during the month of July. The contract is for a minimum of nine months but ideally for the long term giving the children continuity and the chance for you to build strong relationships with them.

Our position offers the unique career opportunity to be part of cutting edge development in EFL teaching methods, and the chance to implement powerful ideas to accelerate language acquisition for young learners. If this teaching opportunity excites you, please write to us at with your CV and a photo of yourself describing your interest in this position. Please only apply if you are a native English speaker and are currently in Madrid as a personal interview is required.

Thank you for your time and your interest.
