Candidates for the Assistant Language Teacher position may or may not have teaching experience, but must have a four-year degree (any major) and enjoy working with children in a structured school environment and have a strong sense of adventure! No Japanese language knowledge required. Through Teach Abroad, college graduates sign 1-2 year contracts (beginning in September and ending in August each year with the chance to renew) with the Himeji Board of Education.
