English Teacher Needed For Small Private School In Gijón

We are looking for a dynamic English teacher to join our team of teachers. The successful candidate will teach English to small groups of children from 8 years of age, teenagers and adults.

They will have to teach according to our schemes of work and be able to evaluate and mark student´s work and to communicate student´s progress to parents. They must be familiar with the communicative approach to teaching English and be able to raise and maintain motivation among our learners.

They will also have to teach Cambridge exams classes (KET, PET, FCE and CAE).

The typical working hours are from Monday to Thursday between 15:30 and 21:00. Fridays between 15:30 and 17.00.
Duration: Inmediate start to end of June 2023 with the possibility of becoming a permanent contract.

Native English Speaker or C2 Level
CELTA teaching certificate or University degree (Modern Languages, if possible) or/and recognised TEFL teaching qualification
Intermediate knowledge of Spanish
EU passport or permission to work in Spain
Familiarity with Cambridge Examinations would be advantageous
Basic IT Skills

Up to 22 hours contact time per week (including 15 min.paid breaks between lessons)
