King's English for Kids

King’s English for Kids is based in Tianjin, which is located about thirty minutes away from Beijing by train. Our teaching team is intimate and friendly, with a good working atmosphere. Teachers are cared for by a foreign management team who help with any of the difficulties encountered living and working in another country, whether those difficulties are personal or professional. King’s English for Kids currently employs nearly thirty International Staff across four cities.

Contract details consist of twenty-five contact teaching hours per week (one contact teaching hour is equal to forty-five minutes). Classes usually take place during the evenings and on weekends. Teachers receive two consecutive days off per week.

Remuneration includes the following:

1) A competitive salary based upon qualifications and experience (10000-15000 RMB per month)
2) Free clean, modern accommodation located close to the school, or an accommodation allowance of RMB 2500 for those applicants already located in China who wish to seek their own accommodation
3) A round-trip airfare upon completion of a one-year contract, up to the value of $1200 USD
4) Health insurance up to the value of $5000
5) Standard Chinese holidays. A travel-expenses paid holiday is organised by the management each year for the foreign staff during each summer term
6) All visa/medical costs
7) Free Chinese language lessons provided by the school
8) Free Chinese calligraphy and Tai Qi lessons provided by the school

Candidates interested in applying for this position should:

1) hold a university degree in any discipline
2) be between 25-55 years of age
3) be a native English speaker holding a passport from one of the following countries – The UK, The USA, Canada, South Africa, New Zealand, the Republic of Ireland, or Australia.
4) hold one year of work experience after graduation.
