Certified English teachers
EIL EcuadorCertified English teachers
EIL Ecuador (Experiment in International Living) is a non profit organization established in Ecuador in 1977 to encourage intercultural exchange among persons of different cultures, religions and ages.
We are looking for certified English teachers willing to come to Ecuador and commit for at least 1 year, preferably 2 years, to give classes in Educational Institutions (high schools, universities, English schools) in different cities of Ecuador.
The selected teachers will be under a cultural exchange program, which includes:
- Support and sponsor for cultural exchange visa
- Support and guidance for all administrative and legal requirements to live in Ecuador, and cultural issues
- Welcome orientation
- Teaching placement in an educational institution, the teachers receive a monthly compensation for their living expenses
Participants profile:
- Women/men older than 22 years old
- English native speakers or with English proficiency, C1 or C2 according to CEF
- Certified teachers of English as a second language
- At least a lower intermediate knowledge of Spanish
- Teaching or tutoring experience (at least 1 year of work stability)
- Discipline, respectful and committed to organization and students or learning community
- Willing to fulfil the tax and legal regulations of Ecuador
Please send an email asking for the application form to teachers@eilecuador.org.ec, we´ll be receiving applications until June 30th and interviewing until July 15th. Beginning of the program August 12th, 2013 (classes begin on September 2nd)
