Qualified EFL Teachers Needed in Ecuador

The Instituto de Lenguas Extranjeras (I.L.E.) of the Universidad San Francisco de Quito (USFQ) in Ambato and Riobamba, Ecuador seeks qualified EFL teachers to begin in May, 2017. I.L.E. has been in operation since 1990 and is well established and is considered to be the most effective English learning institute in Ecuador. The qualifications we ask for are: a minimum Bachelor’s degree in any field of study and/or a TEFL/CELTA/TESOL or other related certificate and must be a native English speaker. At I.L.E. we have three programs; children, teens and adults. Your duties would consist of working Monday thru Thursday from six to eight hours each day with one week vacation after almost every two-month cycle of teaching. I.L.E. also offers an environment where teachers are supported in their professional development with workshops. Teachers would begin working in May but would need to arrive by mid-April to receive training.

We pay $1000/month. I.L.E.offers help finding living accommodations in both Riobamba and Ambato. Airfare fees are the teacher's responsibility. I.L.E. will help you to acquire the necessary work visa, however, it will reimburse you with the costs ($400) upon completion of a minimum of six months. Preference is given to teachers who are able to make a minimum one-year commitment.

I.L.E. has an extremely dynamically effective approach to teaching EFL and has created a fun, family-like atmosphere to work and study. Both Riobamba and Ambato are high-Andes provincial capitals with incredibly beautiful spring-like weather year round.
