ESL Teacher, Bahrain

m2r Education are working with this global leadership training and language education company who have ESL Teacher roles in Bahrain.

They have more than 130 years of experience and their programs are continually enhanced and refined, so you are always teaching with updated materials and the latest learning technology.

Role:

• You will be teaching adults as well as children, therefore you must be reliable, highly motivated and patient.
• Full training will be provided and you must pass the training programme to continue.
• Minimum teaching hours will be 60 per month (c.14hrs/wk) plus admin time, meaning an average working week will be c. 40hrs.
• Each class is 45 mins, therefore 60hrs is 80 classes per month.
• You are able to teach as many hours as you want over the core 60 though and will be paid overtime for this. Generally teachers are doing c. 20hrs teaching per week.

Experience / Requirements

• BA (NOT BSc) in English / Education or a related subject
• BA Business graduates are accepted for Business English programmes
• ESL qualification
• Ideally 1yr experience although not essential
• Dynamic, creative, willing to learn and highly motivated
• Native speaker of English
• Driving Licence required

Package:

• 1yr contract (after 3 month probation)
• TAX FREE salary of 400BHD (£830 / $1000USD) for 60hrs / 80 classes of 45 mins per class per month
• 5BD (£10 / $13) for every 45 minute class taught over the initial 80 classes. (On average teachers are earing double their salary every month)
• FREE shared accommodation (only living room and kitchen will be shared and apartments tend to be large)
• Transportation allowance of 70BHD (£146 / $185) per month
• Initial flight cost reimbursed once 3 month probation is completed
• End of contract flight paid
• Work Visa after completion of training programme
