ESL Jobs in Iran Teach English in Iran

Iran, formerly known internationally as Persia, is a Southwest Asian country located in the geographical territories of the Middle East, Central Asia and the Caucasus. Iran has one of the oldest histories in the world, extending nearly 6,000 years, and throughout history, Iran has been of geostrategic importance because of its central location in Eurasia.

There is a fairly large segment of the population who are interested in progressing their English, normally businessmen who are looking to improve their English for better communication with the West. Iran is a beautiful country, but with the current government teacher may need to be cautious if working in Iran, and careful about what they talk about.

There are a number of private schools and universities that hire foreign teachers, the British Council has a base in Iran, adn the peace corps also operate with volunteers teaching English in Iran.
